My friend recently recived a FirstAct Bb Clarinet for Christmas. I personaly havent heard of it and I was wondering if it`s any good or worth purchasing. I am looking to buy one myself. Thoughts, opinions, comments would all be a great help.

No ive never heard of that brand.. but if you want the best i would recommend a Buffet R13, now these can get quite expensive.. but you can always buy it used. any Buffet is great quality though.

FirstAct is one of those cheap beginner brands. i figure the makers have no idea what they are doing, and they figure its gonna be a bunch of kids playing it why make it good, right? well, i dont know that for sure. if you are serious, invest in a selmer cl300, or a buffet B10. if you aren`t serious, go for first act just to see how it works. dont let the unquality of it turn you away from clarinets. shop around, im sure you can find a much better used one for about the same price.
