Im in 9th grade now, ever since 6th grade when i started clarinet I heard Rhapsody in Blue's famous Gliss opening, I really love the peice, but im having trouble finding a nice peice of sheet music for it, I'm finally capable of playing the gliss, I'm the first chair in my band at school, Iv'e been looking forward to playing Rhapsody in blue just for leasure fun, ive found http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/store/smp_inside.html?cart=51021465577&item=1582740&page=01 this which has the first notes but its missing alot of the clarinets actually opening solo cuz the peice was written as a clarinet solo and not for the actually band, so it leaves out some of the cool parts of the solo which isnt cool Anyone know a good copy of the peice or should i figure the notes out by hand?

Well, it depends on what version of recording you have. I have a Concert Band version with a solo clarinet part. It's awesome, but the Band version leaves out a semi-small section of piano solo which happens to be my favorite part in the whole piece. So I recently purchased the Piano for Four Hands part from a local music store. I also transcribed the entire piece for a Clarinet Choir (10Bb's, and 2 Bass Cl.'s). I can send you my solo clarinet part, but you would have to have PrintMusic! of some sort (Finale, Notepad, or the likes) to view it and print it. Otherwise, the copy for four hands piano has a Dark Blue Cover (very nice shade of Blue by the way), it is put out by Warner Bros. Publications, and it was only like 15 dollars. If you have the ability to view PrintMusic! files let me know and I will email it to you. I also have a recording of it on my page that I did by myself for my clarinet choir (all parts except I do not own a Bass Clarinet, so I played these parts with a Bb). It is in two parts due tosize.
