Our marching band clarinets need to boost their coolness this year! Each section usually does something along the lines of sweatshirts, t-shirts, etc, while the clarinets always do something random and pointless (think dogtags). As much as we want to keep in the tradition of being a bit of the odd man out, we need some cool ideas for clarinet mottos, designs, etc to print on shirts at the very least (any ideas for anything else would be great as well).

You know how the trombones and trumpets and pretty much every instrument has their cool little way of arranging their instruments into various shapes/pieces or art on the sidelines or just when generally not in use? So far, we clarinets have gotten NOWHERE with this! The most successful attempt at being cool was when everyone took apart their clarinet piece by piece to arrange a gigantic FACE, but as you can imagine it was a little less than practical when we had 10 seconds to form a block or set drill So, in lieu of creativity coming from the minds of our own clarinet players, I need your help coming up with something! If your band or any band you know of has a really great clarinet thing going, please let me know! We need to make the rookies feel like they are part of a really cool section and every little thing helps a ton!
