I play clarinet in concert band, but bass clarinet in marching band, so you shouldn't have a problem. Unless your director doesn't allow people to march bass, but I can't see why he or she wouldn't. But even if you can't, I've also marched soprano clarinet, and either one is loads of fun. Enjoy marching band!

Of course! In my marching band, there are at least eight bass clarinet players. Therefore, I think there are going to be some bass clarinet in your school.

It depends on teh school- my director refuses to let us march with bass clarinets. my freshman year i marched soprano clarinet, but this year i switched to mellophone.

to everyone that gets to march with bass clarinets, i envy you.
