first, may i state that every clarinet is different, in some way, and it is best to try these products before you try
secondly, this is only speculation
there is a pretty big difference in weight, which would mean it probably hasnt anything to do with the quality of the clarinet, or the type of metal used, etc. this makes me think about what comes with the clarinet, such as a carry case (the type of material used for the case and whether there is actually one), any cleaning equipment, etc. the weight difference could also be a net weight after the instrument has been put into its boxes and bubble wrap-(as it is being shipped, they should tell you this weight, as you are paying for its transport by weight.
finally, care with a new wooden clarinet, you need to oil the wood for a couple of years to prevent cracking, even though the wood has already been seasoned by Buffet, a change of temperature can start the cracking~ ask your teacher about the best way to do this. you should also dry the clarinet with a pull-through afer playing, as well as making sure the connecting parts are dry, such as around the cork and in its connecting hole
