Right now I play the French Horn. I went to honor band this past weekend, and on the drive back, I learned how to play my friend's clarinet! She has converted me into a clarinet lover! Now I want to buy a clarinet to learn how to play it. it doesn't have to be fancy or anything, just a basic one that doesn't squeak too much. I know it might mess up my embrochure, but I didn't come to this board to get scolded or anything like that. I came here to ask if anyone had any suggestions on like ebay or something for a good clarinet.

Again, this is only for my personal pleasure, not for performances or anything like that (maybe in front of my family, just to show off that I can play both instruments)

Thank you! My f. horn is a yamaha single. Are there any sellers on ebay that you can suggest (and trust) or websites that sell used clarinets in good condition for not too much?

If it's just for personal pleasure, a plastic student clarinet would probably be sufficient. I've got a vito and it's served me well for 6 years now. woodwind and brasswind has a closeout discount on this student clarinet- it's really cheap, if cost is a major factor. http://www.wwbw.com/Glenn-Edward-Student-Clarinet-(Closeout)-i515429.music
i've never heard of the brand, but wwbw.com is well-known and reccomended, it seems. check it out.
