hey
my sis want too buy a new clarinet, but she need some advices. right now shes playing on a buffet e11, but she want to buy a proffesional one. shes thinking of buying a new buffet rc prestige or a festival any ideas?

i would prefer a prestige..because prestige is tune in 442 whereas festival is tune in 440..american style..so if u wan to blend in the band..i would prefer a prestige..if u wan to do solo,then get a festival..right now i am using a festival..it is a very nice instrument.

I guess it depends on how long she's been playing the clarinet. If I were her & have been playing less than 3 years I myself woudn't change.

Well, if I remember correctly, an E 11 is for a beginner so I think she is right to want to upgrade.
