I am a college freshman majoring in music. coming from a high school music setting it was not real important the instrument i played, but now i have been told to upgrade my instrument as it will affect my grade. I play in the marching band so my old clarinet will do fine there, but for music class i need something better. I have been told by the teacher that he recommends the R13, but he didn't mention any other clarinets that he would accept as a substitute. Being a freshman my budget doesn't allow me to buy a $2500 instrument. could someone here give me some advice to comparable instruments in a lower price range or a trustworthy company that sells used R13's. Thanks, Tiara
