Hey guys!

I am back. I still do not have internet at home, but I decided to visit a "Cafe Internet".

You were soooooooooooo right when you told me that First Act clarinets are not very good.

I am going to change clarinet soon. I would like to buy a Buffet E11, a not used one, but, unfortunately, I can not afford it, it is about 1000 dollars!!!

Anyway, I think I will buy a Yamaha one.

Are their reliable? Should I buy one?

Which one do you reccomend me to buy?

Thanks In Advance,
Manuel

Not sure if you have purchased one yet, but our music centre uses Yamaha clarinets for their students. I think they are all good starters, not too expensive and have a decent sound for learners. I use one myself, because I haven't yet got good enough to justify spending hundreds of dollars on a new one. Good luck.

in the way of clarinets i think that a clarinet of a similar quality to the buffet one would actually cost more then a buffet, so i would get a buffet b12 or look o an old selmer/boosey and hawkes, i got an amazing 59 year old woodern boosey and hawkes regent clarinet, it sound amazing compared to some, and f you can get one on ebay with no cracks thn it will go for about $100-$200 then you can expect to pay about $150 getting it fixed and you will have a great clarinet for uner $500

<Added>

there is quite a few bargins on ebay right now, due to the whole economic stuff. so have a look but expect to have to pay about $150 to get it overhaled.
