I recently bought a synthetic reed,($8.99) a Fibracell. It sounds OK to the ear. But we tested it with an electronic tuner. It wavered the needle a lot. Changed back to my cane reed. The needle steadied. That's it for me. No more synthetic. Anyone else test them?

i really don't like synthetic reeds. even legere, which are supposed to be the best synthetics.

I like Legeres...Not enough to consistantly play on...But it is nice to have one around incase of emergency.
