They also tend to fall in love with the bassoon player 
(I know 2 principal clarinetists; one is married to a bassoonist and the other one is going out with a bassoonist)

My user name on woodwind.org is the same as it is here. I like that website, it seems to have a lot more professional musicians who know what they`re talking about than this one does.
