I found this avant-garde jazz musician on myspace named Ned Rothenberg, and one of his solo clarinet tracks blew me away. He seems to be using overtones to play polyphonicly or something. Theres parts in the recording where it seems there are up to three distinct notes playing at once. Some of the overtones are so high pitched, at first I thought he was manipulating feedback or something. I know next to nothing about clarinet technique/theory so forgive my layman's description.

It may be far to experimental/noisy for some ears on this forum, but for those who would be willing to give the track a listen to help me out I would greatly appreciate it.
