Hi..
I just got a brand-new Buffet E11.
I nave had a brand-new before. The old one i had, I bought it used.
I heard that a new clarinet can crack easily because of the room`s temperature.
Are there some special cares that must be taken for a new clarinet???
Please tell me
thanks

There are so many threads discussing this on not only this forum but so many forums as well as sites devoted to taking care of you clarinet from the first time you play it that I am not going to even attempt this one, and I hope "Moose" will be forced to look for him/her-self. It`s the best way from all angles.

well i`ll give some advice, but a humidifier in the case, never play it outdoors and dont play on it more than 30 minutes a day for the first few months. there is so much more to do in caring for s new clarinet but find it out for yourself.

yeh break it in slowly, play it 10 minutes a day for the first week. 20 for the next etc. oil it every 6 months and don`t play in very hot or cold weather or outside. i have never had a problem with my new buffet
