I would really appreciate any advice please on the best web-sites, clubs, associations etc to help promote a charity Jazz/Clarinet charity event/auction which I am helping organise in Bristol on April 21st.
I am not a clarinet player myself, so hence why I need some advice/help please.
With great thanks,
Mark.

Which Bristol? UK? I am not an expert by any means...but I think facebook is arranged by location and you might be able to put a plug in there. At least it would be a start! Also, where I am from, Jazz events are usually posted in our coffee shop and art gallery. I live in a small towne though, so most everyone goes to the same coffee shop!

If your looking for an inexpensive way to promote or sell tickets online you should checkout the Facebook application Viral Events. http://www.viralevents.net. Viral Events does NOT charge a per ticket transaction fee for selling tickets like most companies and offers some nice tools for promoting your event from within Facebook
