Hello all, I have been an electronic wind player(non reed) for a while,but now I need to concentrate on an acoustic instrument,I am considering the Clarinet,do you think this would be a good choice,
what is the differenece between the Bb&Eb why do they vary......Pete.
If you want to play with others start with the Bb clarinet.
The Eb is difficult (and that's if you have a good one) and also there is a lot less written for it than the Bb. Start with Bb and then you can add Eb to your !*****!nal as you get better.
