Finally you so called "clarinet_obsesser" have finally realized to apologize! And since you have confessed that you are a crappy player how can you say these things that are just plain RUDE! and how would you know that so called "bad" clarinet players are "banished" to the bass clarinets just because your band director did it dosen`t make it right! so SHUT UP! muah haha haha!
Any ways for the person "nobbsie" person what exactly is that Conservatorium stuff - just wondering!and good luck w/ what ever it is! And for the person in Canada who is looking to buy a CB try looking at a music shop . Where they usually buy them they usually let you rent them too. Like in America(Canada`s brother ). I live in Florida and there are these shops "All County Music Shops" and you can go there to buy and rent instruments for like $30.00 a month and if you keep it for long enough (like 3years or something around there)you`ll pay it off & it will be yours to keep! !

Go Bass Clarinets! WOOP! WOOP!

(oh ya does any body in here know if you can play a bass clarinet in marching band!)(my friend-trumpet player- says that they don`t have any & that i would have to play the barrysax., which is totally different , but then again what does she know about the BC in marching band!)

The QLD Conservatorium of Music is Australia`s leading tertiary music institution.
And happy birthday for whenever it was, too.

Yes, it is rather hard to get into. This was my 3rd attempt to be admitted to their Bachelor of Music. But I`m there now, and doing well.

My bass clarinet story:
I origionaly play the drums and always will, and when i signed up for grade 8 my mom said, Andy why don`t you play the drums in your band? Well i love the drums so i said sure why not, this led to soooo many problems...At that time i never knew that there was no "drums" in my band just the snare and the rest of percussion...He asked me a couple of questions becase i thought that the snare would be great to learn because i have a drum set at my house..Well because at that time i never knew what a flam was, he put me on trombone...And no offense to those who play it but i really don`t like it, so i aksed him to switch to a smalled intrument, and there it was the clarinet...But i dind`t feel the power i wanted with it so i steped up and started to play the bass clarinet about 2 months before school ended. Now the funny thing about this is that i figured out what a flam was the next day when i talked to my drum instructer, it mad me soo mad

so was i...    17:23 on Saturday, July 3, 2004
