Thats wierd, someone else told me that like 2 days ago. Maybe a key is stuck or something. Maybe it needs servicing... i dunno...

well, how long have u been playing? if you have just started, it takes quite a bit of mouth support to make the upper registers come out cleanly w/o sounding like a screeching duck lol but as soon as you develop the air support, and there is nothing wrong with your clarinet you can do it. if you have been able to get them out before, make SURE you arn`t pressing any keys with your left palm. or check and see if the register key is sticking so it doesn`t close all the way. a little key lubricants will fix that. post back and tell me if i answered ur problem

It`s a leak- try to loosen the screw above ur A "teardrop" key.

I had a problem like that something like a month ago with my clarinet. If you are normally able to play those note and now you are not you should try maybe on another clarinet. If it do the samething it is probably you.
but if you can play those on another clarinet than it`s your clarinet that got a problem so you should go in a music workshop to get it fix.
