definateley the lowest note a clarinet could possible go is a low Eb, but even then u need a bohem system clarinet. on a regular clarinet, the lowest is an E, which is like the B in the third line but without the register key. as in, 1-2-3 1-2-3 and both pinkies.
definately can`t go to a D, on any system

a lot of times scores are written in concert clef so that d is probably an e, or the composer might be stupid. Either way d doesn`t exist on Bb clarinet.

But there is clarinets that actually have one more key. Those costs a lot more than the ordinary Bb-clarinet thought. Maybe it`s not written for an "ordinary" clarinet?

Just look it up from a fingering chart.
