Has anyone ever gotten their tounge pierced? Obviously the actual jewlery itself would have to be removed to play; but, do you think it would affect your playing otherwise?

A Friend of mine who plays the sax actually got a tounge ring and she was fine with it. She even left the ring in to play. However, she wasn`t very serious she just played for fun.

i have my tongue pierced and i still play my clarinet at first it kinda made me flat but then i got used to it and when u tongue on ur mouth piece ur supposed to tongue with the tip of ur tongue not the middle so really having ur tongue pierced doesnt really matter

Never known anyone that did that but I do have a friend that plays sax in jazz band and got his bottom lip pierced before a huge gig, that was stupid lol :S
