Hey....well i am going to try and put this into words....I am having a very hard time breathing while I am at a horns up in marching band. I don`t know why but after a while my back starts to hurt really bad and everytime I breath in it hurts even worse! I have tried to figure out why my back hurts but I don`t know! Can anyone help me!?

yeah! you dont have problems with your back but with something else (i dont know what is the word in english). so, i think there`s nothing wrong

hmm...I dont know what it could be, but you might want to see a doctor or chiropractor. maybe they could help!

I dunno about the breathing problems, but my band director said that if your back hurts, you`re probably arching during horns up.

yeah, make sure you are fully stretched out before you march, especially your shoulder blade area. you are probably leaning back as well, push your hips back. check yourself in a mirror at home so you can get the feel on how straight feels like
