I want to buy a nice student clarinet, which is better a Yamaha 250 or a Leblanc 7214?

It depends on which brand you prefer. They are both basically the same minus a few small differences that are very hard to tell.
I own both brands but prefer my LeBlanc because the tone quality seems to be smoother and more rich.

My early days of clarinetting were spent on a Yamaha 250. It is a great instrument. The only thing is that you should look for a decent student mouthpiece, as the one that comes with it is not that good.
