I know this isnt a bragging site, but i just felt i had to tell everyone here that I GOT FIRST CHAIR!! tryouts were today, and the piece is Concerto for Band by Leonard Duarte. Mr. Duarte was the one that listened to us!! It was nerve-wracking, and my trumpet playing friend and i even got to the point of practicing together over the phone and finally calling our band director at home in a complete nervous breakdown...BTW, I`m a 10th grader and now the lead of a 15-piece clarinet section...i was ahead of 2nd chair by ten points!!! Oh, and my friend also got first/solo cornet...we`re celebrating!!! :-D

Since i am a trumpet it is my nature to brag about things like this
Right now I am second chair in Central High School`s jazz band, which is the highest band in the school. The current first chair is an awesome senior who I will never be able to beat ever, But hes gone next year, so the chair will go to me when Im a junior. MUHAHAHAHA I WILL BE THE BEST IN THE SCHOOL, AND NO CHOIR TRUMPET CAN STOP ME!!!... ahem.. lol by the way im 1st chair in pep band. ttyl~~

I like sitting in first chair! and I hope I`m sitting in it at all state band and honours band next year too
