Okay this isn`t really a question but I really need to vent!

Today I was at my local musical instrument store because I lost a pad off of my clarinet (no biggie) so I went to get a new pad since I have everything else needed to fix it here. They wouldn`t sell it to me!!! Incase I didn`t know how to do it! I was so mad! I know how and why is it their problem if I don`t know how to or not! GEEZ!

There are always other music stores, Jen. Just don`t go there anymore, and it will be their loss. Hope you get your horn fixed up

i agree a lot of music stores are stupid, i paid sam ash 20$ to put a spring in on my high b flat key, bastards; and then another time, i needed a screw, ended up buying a legature, and this was from a smaller music store, bastard.

If you`re willing to pay shipping, you can always buy from online retailers

wwbw has excellent prices, and if you count in your savings from gas money and time, you can usually break even at the very least.

Although, I believe Sam Ash has a policy of matching wwbw reed prices if you request? Last time I checked my local one was doing that.

I must say that she is right. My director even recamended wwbw when I was looking for a professional wooden clarinet and it really turned out to be a big help.
