I have a Noblet Artist clarinet with I assume, a serial number- 5406C.It was a gift many years ago.Can anyone tell me anything about this instrument? Would it be a Bflat instrument? It has a very dark wood.
Many thanks

For anyone who is interested I just got an email from LeBlanc. The instrument in question is a "semi-professional" model 45N still in production. Mine was made in 1957.

The noblet is a very fine intermediate line instrument. I`ve had a few very good experiences with them.

I`ve played on good Noblets which perform better than cruddy R13s. Brand has nothing to do with it.

I can but I think way to many people are falling into the buffet trend. While I like buffets I own several other brands as well and each has it`s own distinct advantages and disadvantages.
