i just `got` a jazz clarinet from a friend
he knows that i play the clarinet, so he gave it to me
now i see that it doesn`t have the same keys
how do you play this thing?

There isn`t a thing like a "jazz clarinet" all kinds of clarinets are used both for classical and jazz music. Probably you just got one of the clarinets they use down in the southeast europe (can`t remember the name but there is different systems).

It might be one of those smaller Eb Clarinets,or a different system clarinet that is custom made.

just found out it is a B flat clarinet

This doesn`t look exactly like a German clarinet (actually, not even close). But for the most part, you should be able to use a German fingering chart for it.

Without the extra keywork that a German clarinet normally has, I`m really curious as to how in tune this clarinet is with itself. Let us know!! Good luck.
