My 14 year old daughter, quite a talented clarinetist (she plays at around grade 8) has recently aquired an oboe, which she seems to have taken to like a duck to water (she can also play flute, alto sax and cornet to a reasonable level). Will she be able to play clarinet and oboe (in diferent bands) or will it mess up her embrouchure? Should she choose between one or the other? (she doesn`t want to make a career in music and plays for fun only)

Your daughter is a very talented girl to be able to play 7 instruments. yet playing the Oboe and Clarinet wont mess up her embouchure as long as she practises hard.
