I know that Selmer makes clarinets, but does anyone know about their oboes? I saw a second-hand Selmer Bundy for sale in our music shop for 750 Euros, ie approx 500 pounds/$1000 and it looks very nice.

I`m a complete novice and have finally decided to learn the oboe, but I hadn`t realised how expensive they are!

Is Selmer Bundy a decent make, and is the price okay?

That is far too expensive. There are oboes on Ebay for much less.
