I`m a clarinet player who also happens to play flute, piccolo, and oboe and I was using the school oboe but school is out and I miss playing the oboe. How much is a cheap, or used oboe? As long as it`s in good condition and it plays decently. How much do you think one will cost and what brand should I buy? I have no clue about oboe brands.

It used to be the Yamaha 211 that was the best "lowest-priced student" oboe, but there is a Barrington 801 (w/ Bb key) selling for $800 on WWandBW and it seems to be getting decent reviews. An orchestra mate of mine picked one up as a back up and liked it.
