hey, Just wondering if anyone here has played the vaughn williams oboe concerto in A minor. I am doing the first movement for an up-coming school certificate performance(australia)and am wondering if anyone has any experience, hints, tips or suggestions for performance. anything is much appreciated.

Hello - the Vaughn Williams concerto is a gem. Please listen to a good recording of it, and be prepared to practise a lot!!!

yeah, i`ve listened to two different recordings. Their is a really good one by Ruth Bollister. It`s coming along really well now.
