What is the "ideal" oboe for a student who`s been playing for 4 years? I`m pretty advanced for my level, so my parents are thinking of buying one for me. Since my teacher only plays on Loree oboes, she recommends it. I`ve played on a Loree before, and the sound was beautiful, but I`d like to have more options than just immediately picking Loree because my teacher says so. My teacher is selling her Loree, so my parents are considering on buying it from her. The thing is, I don`t want to buy something that`s "good" when there`s something out there that`s better for me.
