Its not like its hard to get into a symphonic band .. and there is only 2 oboes .. so yeah <rolls eyes>

Oh be nice! She is afterall, only twelve and oboes are quite nonexistent at that age, atleast not until I got to high school did I see an oboe. So yes, be a little bit nicer, no matter how silly and quite funny her reply was.

hehe sorrrrry... Rachel i apoligize! haha OH yeah and Lily i apoligize too.. im not as mean as i seem haha.. look i can brag too! .. i`ve been playing for 1 year and im plaiyng the cimarosa, brittens 6 metamorphises (sp?) Poulenc sonata, saint saen sonata, all this is like grade 6-7 standard.. umm im first oboe in the senior orchestra (playing beethovens 5th), 1st oboe in senior symphonic band (playing shakovstich(sp?) op.96 festive overture) .. ummm and first oboe in my ensemble (still deciding repertoire) ENYWAYS! yeah.. im so topsh*T and im the best oboe in the school.. i dnt haf the dying duck sound.. im better then this guy that has been playing for 6 years.. (he hates me now!! MUAHAHA) haha and yeah.. that my bragging for today .. LOL!! im a a*shole..

Not as old/experienced as Monsignor 40-year player (I`d like to hear), but experienced. 18, playing for 7 yrs. Pwnd Cimarrosa, Corelli, Polenc, Shostakovich, HOLST, Beethoven (sang the 9th, btw), Annihilated the Metamorphoses, and a few dozen others. Oh, Jaspie... that`s -standard- oboe repitoire (sp.). Everyone -has- to play that at some point, just cuz they`re awesome. =D

Anyway, I can help, and stuff, should help be needed. =D
