Hi gies,
Here's the deal for the past 2 years of marching season i've been playing clarinet and my oboe teacher whose a professer at a collage thinks that last fall clarinet was ruining my embachure. I need some excuses why the clarinet is bad to play if you're an oboe player to help me get out of playing clarinet this marching season cause my band director is so stuck up and can't doesn't even believe my teacher/ soon to be proffeser. As much advice as anyone has would be helpful.

ur clarinet cld be bad 2 play because the reed's 2 big on a clarinet and it ruins ur breathing on the oboe.. oh and u hve 2 bite a clarinet but that is confusing on the oboe and not v good for the reeds.

the embourchure on a clarinet is more like the "e" syllable. the oboe is "o" of course, and the mouth is more round and the jaw is down.
