i am just thinking being able to play an oboe do you need a good music theory???
or is the shape of the teeth ??

You never know until you try. One does not need to play another instrument before the oboe.
Rent one and see if you can find a teacher near you. Do bear in mind that the reeds are expensive and make sure that you can afford the upkeep (or if you are a minor, that your parents are willing to upkeep your supply for you).

Clarinet was my first instrument and I never had trouble going from clarinet to oboe. But, yeah like StephenK said, just try it, and if you like it continue playing. Oboe is such a beautiful sounding instrument and I think you'll love it. Good luck!
