I want to make my own oboe reed case. I was playing on buying something like the old tin lunchboxes and maybe setting it up to have two levels, one for English Horn reeds and one for oboe reeds. I'll be using foam to hold the reeds in place at the staple. It'll look very similar to this: http://i11.ebayimg.com/02/i/07/fd/4a/1d_1.JPG . Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make this reed case better?

(This may or may not be a temporary thing. My boyfriend offered to make one out of wood for me but I don't know if I want him to go through all that trouble.)
