I am a clarinet player and have been for 4 years but has recently been mesmorized by this one song i heard on the oboe and would like to know would it be hard for me to learn to play the oboe and if anyone could give me a price range for a good oboe maybe used. also could you list some good brands

I've been playing the oboe for around 2 years, but it was hard for me to play the clarinet. I'm not sure whether it'd be hard for you to learn or not, but you can always try. As for price range, I got a new Buffet model last year for $4,000. It's one that will last me about 20 years if I take care of it. You could probably get a good used one for about $2,000-$3,000 if you want an advanced model.
