I just found out that it's easy to play with my waist belt tightened... and it seems to support my breath much easier and ease my embouchure... but is it a correct technique?

i'm assuming that you are breathing from the wrong place, since your stomach is supposed to come out and inflate like a beachball. if your waist belt is tightened, it would be harder to do this, so chances are you are breathing up in your chest.

I agreed with Leomll88 that we're supposed to breathe in that way. It should be same for all wind instruments.

When I play I control my breathing with my stomach tight so I don't close my reed up. You are sopossed to hold your stomach tigheter so I think that is a good idea! I will try it.

When you are exhaling, do you loosen up your stomach and let it flattens like a balloon as air is blowing out of your month?

ye you're meant to use your diaphram for support in woodwind.
