I've been playing oboe for about a year now and i took to it quite well, i played the flute first which helped because the fingerings are similar. The only thing is that when I'm in band and there are parts with just the oboe and flutes that are meant to be quiet, I can't play quietly so it doesn't sound right. Is there any way to get my notes out quiter?
