In order to assist performers in finding new and exciting repertoire for their instrument, Emeritus Recordings has created its new “Repertoire Series” CDs. This growing series is designed to showcase previously unrecorded repertoire composed by living composers. Established artists and accomplished newcomers perform the compositions on the CD. The CDs sell for less than ten dollars, or individual tracks are available for download purchase through your favorite digital media outlet. Our website includes descriptions of each work, links to where the music can be obtained, and excerpts of each recorded track.
One of our recent additions is “Flirtations– Oboe and English Horn Music of Sy Brandon” featuring performances by oboists Lauren Murray, Anita Ranucci Brandon, and Tricia Wlazlo performing works for oboe and piano, and chamber music including oboe and English horn.
