Hey i'm new to this site and i have a few questions about technique, playing and oboe in general.
1. I'm gonna get a new oboe soon. what would be a good brand? and whats a good price range?
2. i seem to have trouble finding a good time to practise and how long to practise for. i've been playing for 1 1/2 years.
3. I've started learning a piece on oboe, given to me by a friend of my sisters, and i've found out its grade 5. i can play it but is there any good sites were i can get other music to work on?
4. i want to also learn bassoon but my school conductor said not to. why?
5. i want to try playing the cor anglais(english horn) but my mum said i have to save up for it. how much would they cost, for a decent one?
