We just moved to the Baton Rouge, La area and I am having a hard time finding a private instructor to work with my child. Anyone know of someone in this area? Or is there a website that instructors would list their service?

Thanks!!!

That's where LSU is. James Ryon, the oboe teacher there, is excellent. I don't know whether or not he teaches younger students, but he should at least have some college students who could teach you. Here's a website with his contact info: http://www.music.lsu.edu/~jryon/contact.html

Perfect! I spoke with LSU and Mr. Ryon can't take on any more students, but I did get one of his DMA students to work with my daughter.

Thanks!
