Hey oboe players! I recently bought a book by Martin Schuring. It's entitled "Oboe Art and Method" the author is the Associate Professor of Music (oboe) at Arizona State. The book is extremely helpful in all sorts of ways. It teaches the proper techniques of oboe playing and and reed making. I has step by step instructions on many things including circular breathing and articulation just to mention a few. The part that mostly helped me was the breathing chapter. It teaches you how to properly breath in different measures, and when it's best to inhale and to exhale.
This is a really good book! I just thought I would share it with y'all. I bought mine from Amazon. But you could probably find it other places. I'll give y'all the link.
