I am a collector and demonstrator in The Midlands, UK, of wind instruments, and have recently bought an old oboe musette. It has six finger holes, one thumb hole and six keys for the semi-tones.
Although I am able to play it, as I not an oboe player (my main instrument is the euphonium), it sounds very harsh.
I wish to include a short recording of reasonable quality of the Oboe Musette, or it's modern equivalent, the Piccolo Oboe, in my "Tuneful Tubes?" computer DVD (see
http://sites.google.com/site/tunefultubes/) but have only to date been able to find that at
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yaPGq76jUeU
Does anyone know from where I can obtain one, or is anyone able to make one please?
Being a non-profit educationalk venture, I am unable to offer payment but will promise fame in the form of an on-screen credit and photograph with the sound.
