in the piece the glory of chirstmas there is a part at the begining that trills from a f to a g, that is kind of hard, do you have any suggestions that would make it easier i always come to this site for help because someone always seems to have the answers, see i have playied the oboe for 4 years and in 7th grade i was asked to play in the high school smphonic band. Has anyone heard of the durand marching railroaders? well i play in that band and we are 6 time state champions for mcba. wow well there is a great chunk of my life story im only in 9th grade so i dont know alot so please help thanks amanda

Use either the regular F or the forked F fingering and trill the 1st finger on right hand. Quite easily, actually. Have fun!

My trill fingering chart recommends normal F fingering and trilling with the first (index) finger of the right hand. That should do it.
