I can't play above a C on my oboe. What should I do?

To play the notes above C (referred to as the "altissimo" register), you need the following:
- a reed that is more resistant and open
- put more in the mouth
- bite down harder with the lips
- blow a lot harder

If you still can't play in the altissimo register, best see an oboe teacher.
