I`m a beginner and have been confronted with a vast array of choice in reed. I`m getting a Winfield without question, but it comes as either U-Scrape or Continental, in Green or Purple cane, and I haven`t the foggiest what either means.

Any help or advice? I played for 4 years and acheived Grade 4, but that was in 96, I`m just getting back into it now. I`m going for a medium reed, but I just don`t know which of those options would be best.
