I am doing a survey to satisfy my own curiosity.
What is your favourite piece of music
1. To play
2. To listen to?
Why?

hmm, that`s a mighty tough question.
well, i think that i like
listening to both - Beethoven`s 5th and the Nutcracker Ballet
and i suppose the same for playing
that`s the first thing i thought of for classical
specify a genre and i can give different replies

My favorite piece of music to play and listen to is a piece called Pilatus: Moutain of Dragon. It is the best piece of music plus it has two oboe solo`s in it. My band did that for a comotition piece and we got strate 1`s.

My favorite song to play is The Hymnsong of Philip Bliss by David Holsinger.
As far as listening, I like a lot of different types.

my favorite piece to play is the stanislas verroust 2nd solo de concert. the 3rd solo de concert comes close. i think the only place you can get it from is the music minus one. those pieces are just so much fun
my favorite music to listen to is the shostakovich symphony 5 finale but the new world symphony comes close
