I was thinking that us oboists should get together yearly to talk oboe stuff. What do you think?

There is actually an annual convention of the International Double Reed Society that`s pretty huge already. But I`m all for seeing more oboists get together more than once a year!

Check in your local area. I know that Fresno State here in California has a Double Reed Day every year with master classes, seminars, and playing at the end. It`s pretty fun.
