I play the flute and about a month ago started the oboe. I really like it so far and prefer it to the flute, my teacher said that I`m meant to be an oboist and am far better at it than flute which I was happy about! Some fingerings are the same which made it easier to pick up certain notes. The only thing I don`t love about the oboe is the reeds! They`re quite expensive and can be so much trouble!
