I just bought an incredible Marigaux EH a few months ago. The instrument has an astonishingly beautiful, dark tone, even register, and superb intonation - just like the Marigaux oboes. I`ve switched from the bocals that came with the instrument to the gold-plated Lickman/Dallas #1. This is the best combination you can get.

hi,
i bought a Bulgheroni english horn about a year ago...i use a Fox bocal with it...the ones that came with it are only so-so. many instruments work better with other brand bocals. try a bunch and see which ones fit the instrument best. i got my EH from wwbw.com. it was used so it was cheap...i tried it and loved it!
