Hey, I`m probably close to that person from Tennessee..... I`m in Kentucky. Entering eighth grade, the only oboe in my entire band, though I was second chair in all-district. (Stupid eighth grader in first chair got to have private lessons.... *grumblegrumble*)

Hey! I live in north carolina. I auditioned to learn to play the oboe and got it. i had dificulites with it. see i had been playing clarinet for 5 years and never tried a different instrument. it was pretty rough. i got frustrated with it so many times. its okay to play. i live playing my clarinet better i guess because im at a higher level with the clarinet. well its marching season now so i won`t be playing the oboe anytime soon but i may take it up again for symphonic band. it depends if the director wants me to or no.
